Tucked away west of Tamiami Trail, this subtle but extensive renovation cleaned up a pseudo-modern house and made it into an ultra modern second home for a local, European power couple.

Given the owner’s German heritage and Japanese business ties, it was important to create a building, and the space within, to reflect straight lines and clean architectural detailing, while enhanced by zen-like interior finishes and design elements.

Working with interior designer James Nobles, the exterior of the house kept its modern roots, while the interior repositioned major spaces, like relocating the kitchen off of the pool, and changing the master bath/master closet configuration to accommodate the owner’s lifestyle.
